Windy days have forced me indoors for fashion of the day shoots. That's not exactly how I intended this blog to be. Please be patient as I wait out the weather, and hopefully soon you'll be getting more of a glimpse of the city I live in.
I don't put a huge amount of thought into the outfits I wear on a daily basis. Especially when I'm inside. For me it seems more contrived to put on an outfit when I'm just hanging out in my house. I'm more of a jeans and tee girl when I'm at home. Of course, I do also wear shorts and comfy dresses, like the one in these pictures, when I'm lounging around.
I blog because it's a way for me to share my interests in fashion, whether it be fashion steals I've found and want to share with everyone, or images of what I'm wearing. Fashion isn't my only interest. It just happens to be what I'm working on at the moment.

Personally, I don't follow trends religiously. I use them to gauge what is new, what I'll be seeing in the real world, but I stick to my own style. I believe in buying pieces that outlast trends, and incorporating only a tiny amount of trend in what I'm wearing. I'm not about street style or peacocking. I don't take a what-I-am-wearing photo every day. That said, big patterns mixed with eye-catching colors, this is probably my favorite fashion season, trend wise, to date.
The dress was found at Ross. The earrings, sterling silver and aquamarine, were a trade show gift. The bracelet was found on a trip to Vegas. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
